At this point of time (September 2022) COC papers will be accepted by authorities in UK. As you can check here https://www.gov.uk/guidance/certificate-of-conformity-for-new-vehicles it says:
EU Certificates of Conformity will remain valid for vehicles sold in the UK for the time being. The current requirements are contained in the retained EU Regulation 2018/858, Article 36 (1).
This means you can get an imported car registered in the UK with a COC document.
As we pointed out in another article, the language of the COC can be any EU language, so you won´t have troubles with a german Audi od Voklswagen COC document.
